About the Author
Founder of HookGenius. Author of The Suno Mastery Guide.
I’m the founder of HookGenius and Puana. I’ve been building in technology and media for over two decades; since 2024 my work has focused on prompt-engineering pipelines for AI music production — the technical practice of getting Suno to generate tracks that ship to streaming platforms, not just tracks that sound vaguely AI.
HookGenius is the production system. Every generation runs through a two-stage pipeline I built on Claude Sonnet: Stage 1 writes lyrics with central-metaphor structure and verifiable rhyme schemes; Stage 2 converts the lyric draft into a Suno-optimized style prompt using curated style tags, vocal direction, and pipe-syntax timing. The pipeline has been refined across 50+ genres, 14 vocal archetypes, and thousands of in-production generations since I shipped the first version.
Puana is the music platform I’m building to take over Spotify — an AI-music-native streaming app, live now on the iOS App Store. Every lyric and every Suno style prompt for every Puana track was generated through the HookGenius pipeline. It’s the largest production proof of the methodology: a real streaming catalog produced end-to-end by the system documented in The Suno Mastery Guide.
The methodology is documented in The Suno Mastery Guide — 396 pages, 74 genre deep-dives, full v5.5 feature walkthrough, 300+ curated tags, 40 artist influence profiles, lyric craft chapter, monetization playbook.
